It was more of a penalty than the one Everton got, but he definitely made the most of it.
Considering he should have had one from that 'tackle' from Xhaka, it for once evens itself out a little.
In short, no.

What's the punishment?
I mean it would be typical for him to get one, but to be honest in the context of the season probably well worth it.

The BBC wanker interviewing Hughes kept going back to this for about three minutes of the four minute clip.
Moyes has tried to sew some reasonable doubt by saying he had just sprinted 70m and it wasmore fatigue than a dive. To be fair, he was at full pelt and stretching to try and keep ahead of teh defender, and also, had he not fallen over (dived) the defender would have clattered him possibly injuring him.
Need one of teh three judges to have a doubt, and he'll get away with it. Quite possible he'll get done though.
How many matches does he miss if they find him guilty?

Ex players on BT sport were convinced it was a dive....amazingly Graham Poll wasnt so sure!
2 game ban apparently if they agree it was.

Can see why there are complaints from Stoke and pundits asking questions as there is no contact but for my money if not for his "Acrobatics" there would have been, there was no way he was not going down.
50/50 IMO but seeing as we are West Ham, nailed on suspension........

Cracks me up with the amount of diving that goes on how this one is getting so much attention- no-one said a thing about Delph's against us which got them the free kick which lead to their equaliser.
Fuck them all.

Morality only rears its ugly head in a game like this that is meaningless to the outcome at the top of the league, otherwise it's the demands of the majority of "fans" that count i.e. the best supported teams do well which account for 70-80% of "fans".

Shaqiri dived and screamed for a free kick at the edge of our box which led to our breakaway for the pen. Will that be looked at, or is it only if you win a penalty?
I'm completely against diving and anyone doing so should be banned, but sometimes, it's just a natural reaction to try and avoid contact, it's so difficult for the refs.

Just watched it again, and call me biased, (I am), but it is quite possible he was trying to ride the challenge, stretching to do so, and then there is contact, defender's hip to Lanzini's thigh.
Running at full pelt, that can send you flying.
Perhaps he was cute and fooled the ref, but there is a bit of genuine reasonable doubt, so I hope he gets off.
If not, it could be good for the squad to get a couple of results without him.

The amount of decisions that go against us every week, and yet this is a massive talking point of course.
Still, there were a lot of West Ham fans who wanted him dropped anyway, probably for that fucking CARTHORSE Kouyate, who breaks up play magnificently, so it shouldn't matter much.

He dived, but it’s us, so I don’t care.
But I will have to bear this in mind when I’m next berating some cunt who does it against West Ham. Or maybe not.

It was a dive. I laughed out loud as it happened, it was that bad. I can't stand cheating. Win by being better, not like an Argy. Their mentality is win by any cost.
Lucky it was 0-3. He will get away with that.
